I have lived in different places.

Each box mark on the tile’s design above is placed in a way that shows the places I’ve lived relative to one another on a map.

In the sixth grade, we had to write out and draw our idea of a utopia. Mine was easy, an amalgamation of the places I had lived: the people from Peru, the location and environment of Portugal, and my school in Virginia.

Today I would add the short commute to my family that exists in Baltimore, mix in the walkability and ambiguous specialness of New York City, and add the lifestyle of the Spaniards, and what was already great would become perfect.
